We the People of Iran, for the purpose of forming a better society and establishing liberty, security, peace and justice for ourselves and our future generations, have penned this Constitution as the basis upon which a government worthy of the Iranian people can be founded. ما مردم ایران، باهدف تشکیل جامعه ای بهتر و برقرارکردن آزادی، امنیت، آرامش و گسترش داد برای خودمان و آیندگان مان، این قانون اساسی را برای ایران نگاشته ایم تا حکومتی که شایسته ایرانیان باشد بر پایه آن شکل گیرد.
