With SecurID Authenticator, you can authenticate with your existing SecurID Software OTP Credentials or use additional cloud-based methods from a single app:
• SecurID software OTP Credential and Authenticate OTP generate one-time passwords that provide more reliable security than reusable passwords.
• Approve (push notifications) prompts you to authenticate by tapping a button on your registered device.
• Biometrics methods allow you to authenticate with the biometrics available on your device.
Simple, fast, and all within the same app!
iOS users:
• Install new SecurID Authenticator and it replaces SecurID 3.x / 4.0 app, with seamless data migration.
• RSA Authenticate App 3.9.x continues to be supported, and data migration to SecurID Authenticator is currently not available.
• For security reason, the Authenticator app does not function on devices that are rooted or jailbroken.
macOS users:
• Install new SecurID Authenticator and the migration of token records from the RSA Software token 4.2.x is currently not supported.
• Please contact your help desk Administrator to provision the software token for you to import in the SecurID Authenticator.
Note: Your company must be a SecurID customer to use this app. Please contact your Help Desk Administrator if you did not receive the information required to register your device.
The Authenticator app is an update to the existing SecurID 4.0 app and a replacement for SecurID Authenticate 3.9.x app. The SecurID Authenticate app will continue to be supported.
